We welcome you to the Perry Hill United Methodist Church web site.  We'd like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about our church and why Perry Hill is such a special place to worship.

A Special Welcome to our Military:

     We'd also like to extend a special warm welcome to all of our military families  
     and friends from both Maxwell and Gunter Air Force bases .  Perry Hill has been
     honored throughout the years to serve as a temporary house of worship  
     for many of our service men and women while they were stationed here in
     Montgomery.  Although they were only were able to worship with us for a short
     time, our congregation quickly grew to love them and their families and they
     often said they always hated to leave when the time came.  We even stay in contact with many of these individuals and families long after their departure even though many miles may now separate us.  Many say they felt loved and at home while worshipping here at Perry Hill.

Please stop in and worship with us next Sunday, we'd love to meet you and get a chance to know you!

• We believe that there is only one true God.
• We believe that the Bible is God's Holy word.
• We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of God.
• We believe that God sent Jesus as a sacrifice for the sins of the whole world.
• We believe that Jesus is the only way to God and to heaven.

Our Ministry:

The ministry of Perry Hill United Methodist Church is always expanding to emphasize children and youth, the family, and our community.  Because we have many young families with small children, a new multi-purpose playground was constructed which was a church-wide labor of love.  Also, our beautiful Children's Church - a scaled down chapel with stained glass windows, altar and pews just the right size for children - is used each Sunday morning for our children, during the regular Worship Service.

Opportunities to Grow:

• Prayer Ministry.
• Shepherding Ministry (caring for the needs of our congregation).
• Community Outreach (Partners in Education, Emotions Anonymous - support group).
• Missions Outreach (local and worldwide).
• Children, Youth, Adult and Older Adult Ministries.
• Family Ministries (including church wide retreats, special celebrations, seminars and family fellowship programs).
• Music Ministry (Chancel Choir, Children's Choir).
• Boy Scouts (Troop 206).
