We are conveniently located at the corner of Perry Hill
and Harrison roads, 1/2 mile north of the Perry Hill Rd exit from
I-85. After exiting I-85 heading north on Perry Hill
Rd, turn left at the fourth traffic at Harrison Rd
(just past Hardee's restaurant). We are located
immediately on the right.
Our main parking lot is located directly behind the church
with entrances from both Harrison and Bienville roads.
There is also overflow parking available across Harrison Rd in the Dollar
General/Capital Music parking lot.
Our Sunday morning service dress is Business Casual
(Dresses to pantsuits for ladies, suits/ties to khakis and
sport shirts for men).
Sunday evening service dress is casual (slacks/jeans and
sport shirts).
For worship services in our sanctuary, our
two
main entrances are accessible
from the rear parking lot of the church. Our main front
entrance is located at the front of the church facing Perry Hill Rd.
Follow
the side walk located on the Bienville Rd sided of the church
where you will see a sign posted at the rear corner of the
building that will point the way to the sanctuary. There is also a rear
entrance door located at about the middle of the building from the rear parking
lot (look for the small stairway). This entrance can be used to access the
church office, nursery, Sunday School rooms, fellowship hall and
kitchen as well as the sanctuary. There is a sign
posted outside this door as well as one on the wall once you enter the building
that will guide you to any of
these various locations. Ushers
are also available in the rear parking lot near the covered portico
to assist with directions.
For your convenience, we offer a covered portico
located in the rear parking lot of the church to drop off
worshipers when it is raining.
We also offer an elevator located just under the covered
portico for our handicapped worshipers. Ushers
are available to assist with loading and unloading.
It is our tradition at Perry Hill to greet all of our
visitors warmly and to make them feel as comfortable as
possible. You will be greeted at one of our entry doors by a friendly
usher or greeter who will welcome you and provide you with information and
directions for the service you are attending. We also respect the fact
that visitors are often uncomfortable being singled out during worship services,
so all you are asked to do is to simply fill out our guestbook when it is passed
during the worship service so we can follow up with you at a later time.
You will not be asked to stand and introduce yourself during the worship
service. Perry Hill is often referred to as "a church with a warm heart",
so don't be surprised if you are welcomed by several of our caring members
before and after the service. You will be contacted by phone by someone
from our church a few days after your initial visit with us to see how you are
doing and to see if you have any questions regarding your worship experience
with us. You can always request a personal visit, but that is strictly up
to you (we will not force ourselves on you at any time).
Please know that we are always excited to meet our
visitors and we'd love the opportunity to get a chance to know you better and to
invite you back to worship with us again.
As part of the United Methodist Church, we do not prevent
anyone from participating in our Holy Communion services. We believe that
Christ's Table is offered to all believers, regardless
of denomination or church membership.
How do I
become a Christian?
You need to pray the sinners prayer, where you open your heart to God and
acknowledge to Him that...
- You are a sinner and have fallen short of His glory.
- Confess your sins to God and ask Him for forgiveness.
- Repent of your sins.
- Invite Christ into your heart and make him the Lord and Savior of your
life.
